Myrtle Shane Injured by Automobile in Frederick County
Mrs Myrtle I Shane wife of William Shane of the Nain neighborhood Frederick County was badly injured when struck by an automobile driven by Buddy yesterday at noon. She suffered a fractured left leg broken left arm and shoulder and numerous cuts. The vehicle could not stop in time and Mr Perry stopped and aided the injured woman. She was taken to Memorial Hospital and was reported resting well not in critical condition.

Mrs. Taylor died Thursday evening at her daughter Mrs. Dora Simpson’s Winston-Salem home and was brought here last night by grandson Taylor Simpson. Her son Collins Taylor of Winston-Salem arrived to arrange funeral plans, accompanied by cousin Mrs. Henry W. McVicar of Staunton, Va. She was aunt to Mrs. Lucy Warner Mrs. John Cochran Mrs. Luther Snapp and Mrs. Ann Wilson.
