Prominent county farmer and church leader John Ebert died suddenly at his 433 North Loudoun Street home. Heart disease was listed as the cause after he collapsed at about 8:30 this morning. Survived by his widow Parlett and five children, funeral at Braddock Street Church with burial in Mount Hebron Cemetery.

Red Cross Annual Drive Under Way for Funds

Military Honors At Last Rites of J. William Carr
Funeral services were held for J. William Carr who died Friday afternoon of pneumonia.
