Douglas Lycan, 64, a miller by occupation, died last night in Greenspring from suicide. Authorities believe jealousy over a fiancée prompted the act, which occurred after a quarrel over postponing their wedding to Christmas. Two notes found at the home directed to Mrs J H Berry and to Mr Strobridge, with a final message that his body would be found in the pond. The body was located later in the mill-pond area as officials investigated.

The funeral will be at 3 o'clock Monday from the house with Rev Mr Goode of the Disciples Church Rockville Md officiating. Interment in Mount Hebron cemetery.
