Winchester Youth Dies After Crash in Fort Valley
Chester Davis 19 of Winchester died at Shenandoah County Memorial Hospital after a one car crash two miles north of King's Crossing. The Buick driven by James Haun 25 of Woodstock left the road striking a tree. Davis suffered severe head injuries and a fractured pelvis and did not regain consciousness. Haun sustained head injuries and a fractured left leg and foot. Passenger injuries included Charles Yew 23 and Jerry Peer 18 of Woodstock. Davis was survived by his parents nine siblings and extended family. Funeral planned for 2 p m Wednesday at Dellinger Chapel in Woodstock.
