Circus strong man Drew Longerbeam entertains Cub Scouts in Berryville
Clarke County young circus performer Drew Longerbeam flaunts his strength at the annual Circus of Cub Scout Pack 34 held Saturday at the Episcopal Parish Hall Grounds in Berryville. A large crowd attended and the cubs raised 125 dollars during the show and dedication ceremonies followed Sunday at D. G. Cooley Elementary School in Berryville.

Annual Firemen's Carnival Parade Kicks Off Summer
The John H Enders Fire Company carnival runs a week in June on Byrd Ave Berry ville with games rides and confessions. It opens 7 PM nightly. The parade is Friday June 7 at 7 PM with about 100 units including fire trucks floats bands and majorette groups. Special guests include Congressman John O Marsh Jr Del F L Sargent and Miss Carol Handy and Miss Vickie Childs. Parade judges are Washington DC Fire Department officials.
