Jury Hears Evidence in Feed Case Trial Over Nine Thousand Dollar Note
A seven member civil jury heard evidence in a 9000 dollar suit by Sherwood Feed Mills against William J and Delketh Lockhart with a counterclaim for partial repayment. The Lockharts contend they are owed 8078.55 for commissions on sales and that the firm misrepresented the deal. They admit signing the note and lowering it to 9000, while Sherwood denies the agreement and says discussions only contemplated a potential sharing if sales succeeded.
