Two Winchester youths, Kirthwood Wingfield and Charles Armel, were captured within 24 hours after abandoning a stolen car after a high speed chase through Virginia West Virginia and Maryland. They are charged with auto theft and use of a firearm in an attempted robbery at the Frank Schaffaker filling station near Capon Bridge West Virginia. Wingfield identified by Schaffaker as one of his assailants.
