Pirates seize kerosene cargo near Canton
A lighter carrying a full cargo of kerosene owned by the Texas Oil Company was seized by Chinese pirates off Canton today. An armed band from the American gun boat Helena has been sent in pursuit. In Tipntsin, a telegram reports a soldier killed and two captured in clashes with Shantung train bandits yesterday.
