Export of helium gas to other countries approved
The national munitions control board allows export of up to 500000 cubic feet of American helium per year to any country. Secretary Ickes said the move facilitates Polish experiments and hospital uses abroad, while not being militarily important. It could not aid the German Zeppelin effort to operate the LZ-130 dirigible.
