Memorial Service Set Sunday in Winchester National Cemetery
Former Winchester mayor Claude B Smalts Jr will be the main speaker at a Memorial Day service Sunday at 2 pm in Winchester National Cemetery. The event is sponsored by VFW Post 2123 American Legion Conrad Hoover Post 21 DAV Stonewall Jackson Chapter 9 WWI Veterans Major Mosby Barracks 1526 and the Davis Williams VFW Post 6044. The program includes color guard National Anthem Handley High School Band invocation by Rev Stanley Dysart welcome by Kenneth Ridley and wreath laying by Mrs Leslie Fries followed by a volley salute by VFW Post 212.
