Chamber Board Approves Four New Members

The Chamber of Commerce board welcomed four new full members Kermit Batt from the Airport Speedway Inc Cyril Mee of the Appleway Motel and Charles A Campbell Jr president of Lambert Transfer Co Inc The board also reviewed the April treasurer report and discussed a planned August membership drive Names were proposed for Shenandoah College trustees Frank Armstrong James R Wilkins Wayne Omps and Benjamin Belchic Dr Leon Slavin joined the board replacing Dr Wm P McGuire who resigned

The Blue Ridge Hunt Horse Show returns June 2 at Carter Hall Grove Millwood starting 9:00 a.m. with luncheon on the grounds and multiple conformation, green conformation, green working, junior working, and breeding classes plus local Blue Ridge hunters and a costume class.
