Washington May 20 A jury hearing the Langdon murder case heard that Beulah Limerick had complained of his attentions. Inspector Kelly testified the dead girl's sister said Langdon persistently annoyed Beulah and that Langdon admitted entering her house. The government links the ex policeman to illegal activities and the killing to silence a witness. Rose V Langdon, the defendant’s estranged wife, testified next.
Helen Willis a 32 year old divorcee, with 26 cents, died of gas in her Park Avenue kitchen. Bellevue doctors said death occurred hours earlier. Detectives found a 1934 divorce decree dissolving her marriage to Frederick A. Willis of CBS. Willis, an aide to CBS President William S. Paley, was in Washington. his wife said he was previously married to a Helen Thornton.
