Attorney General Pollard to file a motion in Supreme Court on June 5 seeking execution of a debt decree issued by Virginia WI. The action aims to compel repayment and enforce the court order.
Virginia seeks a writ of execution to seize West Virginia public property including the Capitol to satisfy a Supreme Court decree of 12.39 million dollars issued in 1915. The motion, filed after lengthy correspondence, notes a June 5 court action and cites prior endorsements by bondholders and Virginia officials.
Troop 1 Winchester Boy Scouts invite the public to a Friday evening meeting at North Main Street room. City Manager Field and Mayor Ward will speak, with other local officials present. Senior Patrol Leader Robinson presides as the program includes oath, prayers, merit badges, talks, and business items.

Attorney J H Lacy Jr presided as justice of the peace at large and police court at City Hall. Charles Grim convicted and fined five dollars and costs for misusing a team, plus fifteen dollars to repay William Craig. William Forney and Hayes were fined eleven fifty each for speeding. Alva C Richard to appear tomorrow on similar charges at 36 West Water Street Winchester during May and June.
