Child Dies After Head On Crash Near Winchester
A three year old Frederick County girl Sherry Fridley died at Winchester Memorial Hospital after a two car crash Saturday near Winchester on U S 11. Three others including the girl's parents Leon Ray Fridley 22 Mildred Fridley 22 and Gilbert Eugene Line 24 were listed in critical condition. Mark Fridley 2 was listed in good condition. The Fridley car driven by the father collided head on with Line vehicle traveling north. The injured were taken to the hospital by Winchester Volunteer Rescue Squad. The Fridley family had moved from Strasburg to Frederick County two weeks before the crash.
