The Frederick County Board of Supervisors approved a voluminous dog control ordinance. The measure aims to regulate dog management and enforcement within the county, detailing responsibilities for owners and penalties for violations as part of a broader public safety effort.
Senator Ralph Yarborough acknowledged receiving 1700 from Billie Sol Estes for his Texas radio broadcast with no strings attached. Dallas News reported Estes’ journal listed a 1000 payment to Yarborough on May 23 1961 plus monthly amounts.
The American Fruit Grower notes astronauts John Glenn ate apple sauce on a space mission as part of a two course menu. Growers claim their apples are “out of this world” due to the sauce.
