The Ladies Confederate Memorial Association outlined the June Sixth observance with a parade and ceremonies at Stonewall Cemetery where over 2,500 Confederate soldiers are buried. Rev. F M Richardson of Braddock Street M E Church South was named the day’s orator, with Turner Ashby Chapter Daughters of the Confederacy aiding in grave decorations and fallen stone repairs. The event will feature multiple bands, Confederates veterans groups, visiting camps, cadets, and local fire and school participants. A full program will be released soon.
