County Board Adopts Budget and Votes on College Representation
The county approved a $5,975,681 budget with no tax increase, cutting about $289,000 from the current year. Schools receive $4.7 million, while other county duties total $1.28 million. 5000 Guns in Weekend Show Shenandoah Valley Event

Deliveryman's Bullets Wound Holdup Man
In Liberty City Miami two milk company delivery men faced deaths in holdups last year. Lewis Wilhite Sr. armed his truck and son Lewis Jr. fired four shots at Mike Gordon who attempted to board the vehicle. Gordon died from the shooting. an accomplice fled. Frederick County Appoints New Fox Trapper
