Moderate brief recession feared by Business Council
Inflation easing is projected as the economy slips into a six to eight month moderate downturn in the second half of the year. The Business Council predicts a 0.6 percent GNP rise in late 1979 from 1978, with unemployment up about one point and inflation slowing to roughly 7.5 percent by year end.
