Fire damages mill in Frederick county
Fire struck the Spout Springs flour and grist mill five miles east of Winchester and caused several thousand dollars in damage. Firemen from the city responded, water came from Abram's creek, and most damage was on the fourth story above the basement. Operations will be curtailed until repairs. The historic mill, a four story brick and stone structure, is owned by A C Haines of Haines Milling Company.
