Robbery at the Home Of Commissioner Roe’s Mother Near Gore
The unmasked thief robbed Mrs Mary Roe near Bethel four miles north of Gore about 4 pm yesterday. He took canned goods and clothing, leaving a bundle found later in a fence corner. Sheriff Pannett planned to search the Roe home with bloodhounds, as four nearby robberies have occurred in 24 hours with three men jailed.
