Winchester Council weighs municipal auditorium costs and benefits
City leaders debate funding for a proposed municipal auditorium to serve sports and conventions. Estimates show operating costs near 20 000 annually and initial cost possibly 200 000 with revenue concerns and need for full cost review. Decisions hinge on self sufficiency, tax impact, roadways and facility scope.
