Head killed in Charlestown train accident case opener
John McCauley, 38, Goetz Harness employee, was killed in Charlestown West Virginia when the Winchester accommodation struck an open switch on the Baltimore and Ohio Ohio railroad. The midnight freight had been side tracked. investigators will probe the switch and failure to secure it. His wife, formerly Miss Ballenger of Charles Town, survives.
