Alternative Education: A Working Program For Teen Dropouts
Stephens City hosts the Virginia Alternative Education Program serving Winchester and Frederick and Clarke counties. Teachers measure success by individual progress, placing students in work sites and classes that emphasize math reading and career awareness. The program aims to produce taxpayers not welfare recipients and relies on CETA funding with Title II B and Title IV components.
