Campground Closed in Frederick County After Court Ruling
Circuit Court Judge Robert K. Woltz issued an injunction blocking operation of Candy Hill Campground owned by Ralph Poe between Routes 37 and 50 West. The ruling upholds a 1977 Merriman's Estates suit alleging improper advertising of a public hearing and questions about zoning and building permits. The injunction awaits appeal to the state supreme court with a bond set at 25 000 dollars.
