Salute to Nursing Week in Virginia Highlights Nurses

Governor Dalton proclaims Salute to Nursing Week April 30 to May 6 to honor Virginias nurses. The Virginia Nurses Assn and allied groups promote excellence in practice and public recognition of nurses daily health care contributions. At Winchester Memorial Hospital about 350 RNs and LPNs work, with nurses providing 24 hour patient care and coordinating lab work and patient teaching.
