Three Hurt In Norfolk and Western Train Wreck
White Post Va May 2 Three people were seriously injured when Norfolk and Western train No 2 from Roanoke to Hagerstown wrecked one mile north of Solitude between Glasgow and Natural Bridge Rockbridge County Virginia. The crash blamed on a broken rail caused three day coaches and a Pullman sleeper to derail. Wrecking crews worked through the night. the train arrived six hours late.

The body of Charles B. O Connor formerly of this city died suddenly last Wednesday walking in Norfolk Virginia. He was buried Friday in the Portsmouth Virginia cemetery where he had lived for years.
