Stephens City Man Takes Own Life
Raymond Staples, 62, of Stephens City, was found hanging from a back porch rafter early this morning. The coroner ruled death by self action. He had been ill but was about his normal self and last seen around 10 p.m. No notes were left. A son and several siblings survive. Burial is planned for Friday at the Methodist Church after services. The Virginia Academy of Science will sponsor a regional science open house for area high school students at Bridgewater College on Friday.
