Army to Stay In Control of a German Zone

In Berlin the military government began a counter boycott of Russia’s moves, while Soviet sub committees on taxation and currency reform were announced to meet later this week. General Lucius D. Guilt Admission To Theft Charge Brings $50 Fine
Lester Lemaster of Bunker Hill pleaded guilty to stealing an 1889 Winchester carbine belonging to H. L. Willoughby of Boyce. Judge Elliott Marshall imposed a $50 fine and a 12 month suspended jail sentence, with one year of probation. Rennie of Winchester also pleaded guilty to forging two checks totaling $27, ordered six month suspended sentences on each count with restitution and costs, plus one year of probation.
