John R. Gano and Fay Marker Miller, former staff of the Commercial and Savings Bank of Winchester, were sentenced in Harrisonburg after pleading guilty to embezzling 428 dollars and making false entries. Gano received one year and a day on 11 counts. Miller paid 1,000 dollar fines on three counts and two years probation.
