Middletown Odd Fellows Lodge Fifty Years Old
Marsh Run Lodge No. 147 of Middletown marked its fiftieth anniversary on March 14 in its own lodge hall. The piece recalls its 1875 charter with ten members and notes long service by Elias Ridings, who, at age 78, remains active and was honored with a watch charm. Delegations from Madison Lodge 6 Winchester and other nearby lodges attended a banquet with toasts and a long recollection of the lodge’s history.
