Lucy Meredith Marshall aged 74 widow of William C. Marshall died at Maplewood Nursing Home after leaving her Winchester home on Stewart Street. The Marshalls ran the Episcopal Female Institute and were longtime Christ Episcopal Church members. Born September 17, 1863 in Cumberland County Virginia she was daughter of Rev William Meredith and Elizabeth Cushing. Survived by son Peyton J. Marshall daughter Mary M. McCullough of Winchester another son Rev. William C. Marshall of Bedford six grandchildren and one great grandchild and brother John C. Meredith of Kansas City Funeral arrangements to be announced flower donations declined.
