Flood waters on the Potomac threaten Washington area as multiple bridges vanish or wash out. Key spans at Harpers Ferry Romney and Point of Rocks are gone while Williamsport and Front Royal face closures. Traffic may resume on some routes by midafternoon. reports of further washouts remain unconfirmed.
Station WRVA Richmond will sponsor four 15 minute broadcasts in April to promote the apple blossom festival. Programs are set for April 4 11 18 and 25 with dramatizations by studio staff.
