Cadet Williams, a trained aviator from the school of military aeronautics in Austin, dived alone into a Colorado River pool and retrieved the body of four year old Paul Leutcke near the Congress Avenue bridge. City and county officers, plus volunteers, had dragged the river for hours before the cadet’s successful second dive.
