Shenandoah Valley Travel Association Publishes 1978 Guide
The SVTA released its 1978 Accommodations Restaurants and Campground Guide listing 90 motels 97 restaurants and 20 campgrounds with 1978 rates across the Valley in a 36 page booklet. Executive Director Meriwether German announced 125000 copies printed up 25 percent from 1977. The guide is distributed to information centers chambers across the state and to A A A offices and is free by mail or phone. SVTA runs the Valley Tourist Information Center at Ex it 67 I 81 New Market seven days a week.
