An 18 year old Richmond youth was arrested and charged with setting two apartment fires in a 24 hour period last week. Samuel Harold Moses admitted tossing penny boxes of matches through basement windows to start both blazes. He stayed at the scene to watch firemen battle the large alarm fire that displaced 25 residents and injured two firefighters. Moses, who turned 18 last Sunday, was placed in Juvenile Contention Home and will be heard in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

An Air Force B47 bomber crashed near North Carolina in flames early today. Three crewmen parachuted to safety and were rescued hours later in a wooded swamp area between St. George and Rowesville. Sabels of Muskegon Michigan, observer. and Lt. Floyd D. Doss of Lynchburg Virginia, pilot. Ground teams, a Shaw Air Force Base helicopter, and Civil Air Patrol planes aided the search.
