Evidence barred in Teapot Dome lease case in Fall affair
In Cheyenne on March 16 Judge Kennedy barred evidence intended to reveal the bank account secrets of Albert B. Fall in the Teapot Dome lease annulment suit. The ruling deprives the government of its sole method to prove an exchange of Liberty bonds between Fall and Harry F. Sinclair. Roberts planned to reverse the prior tracing method, seeking bonds from Sinclair to Fall rather than Fall to Mammoth. The court warned Roberts that his approach was entering through the door already blocked.
