Winchester man killed in Columbus drug raid
The body of Charles Chase Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Miller of Winchester, was brought home after being shot in the back of the head by a bandit during a Columbus New Mexico raid. Miller, who ran from a hotel toward his drug store, died in the street as looting began. Funeral services are set for tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock at Grace Lutheran Church, with burial in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
