Winchester Men discuss home defense at Armory meeting

MA Winchester calls on able bodied citizens to attend a Munice Men meeting at the Armory tonight at 7 30 PM. The group promotes community defense and firearm training for members aged 18 to 65 and urges neighbors to join the new class.

Funeral services held for Virginia state senator Aubrey G. Weaver

In Front Royal a funeral was conducted for Aubrey G. Weaver who died in the Hotel Jefferson fire in Richmond. Stephens City Cannery Building Fund Drain

Two thousand dollars have been pledged for the Stephens City canning plant and cafeteria fund, but only about half has been received so far. Donors are urged to remit pledges promptly as daily contributions continue and more funds are needed to enlarge the building.
