Mrs Mary E Grigsby widow of J Ralph Grigsby a Clarke county farmer and Democratic leader died early this morning at her home east of Berryville along the Shenandoah river from a heart attack. She was in her sixty seventh year and had suffered a heart condition for years. The attack occurred about 11 o clock with a physician summoned and stimulants given, but she died at 1 o'clock as family members in Winchester and Berryville were notified.
