New motor vehicle license plates will go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday. Andrew Bell, local agent for the Division of Motor Vehicles, reports 12 000 new tags arrived at Court Square. Tags range 348 201 to 356 200 with 8000 for autos and 2500 for trucks. The office opens 9 a.m. to 4 30 p.m. daily except Sunday with extra help planned. Motorists must secure tags by midnight April 15 or face illegality on the 1947 48 issue.
