Winchester residents will receive over 12 000 notices and renewal applications starting Friday as city sticker prices rise. Passenger cars and small trucks cost 15, trucks over 2 1/2 tons 22 50, motorcycles 8, motor bicycles and scooters 5, buses and passenger vans 17 50. Renewals due by April 15 to avoid a 2 penalty. Violation fines total 43 if stopped after April 15 without a valid sticker.

Aarolann and Ruth Monnington of Warren County sue the county claiming 148 acres were doubly taxed and improperly assessed by the commissioner of revenue.
