Casino Barge Promoter Claims Atlantic Coast Tow
Coast Guard questions plan to tow a three acre casino barge named Casino Atlantic toward Atlantic City. Promoter John Hoffman says it will anchor off Steel Pier with craps roulette and slots for 500 patrons at 50 dollars each. Officials doubt the venture and note gambling ships face federal law limits and state bans.
