In Frederick Maryland masked burglars overpowered three guards and looted 2100 gallons from the Iraville distillery warehouse belonging to Outerbridge Horsey Inc valued at about 35000 dollars. Guards were bound, barrels rolled out, and trucks used to load the liquor. One truck with seventeen barrels was found disabled on the roadside. Hemp, a guard, freed himself and alerted company officials who notified the sheriff. Police suspect a Baltimore gang fled with the whiskey, with a prior raid on the same distillery last September valued at 145000 dollars.
