A large section of temporary ice show bleachers collapsed at Baltimore's Fifth Regiment Armory injuring more than 275 people. Thirty two are reported in serious condition as 10 hospitals treat the bruised crowd. Bandits Escape With $100000 at Quonset Point Credit Union

Collision Near Marshall Claims Two Lives in Virginia
Three people died on Virginia highways with 146 traffic fatalities for the year. William Slater 51 of Annandale and Herman Tingen 32 of Fairfax died in a two car crash two miles north of Marshall on Route 17. Stella Kostopoulos 56 of Stamford Conn died when her husband James Kostopoulos 55 lost control on Route 301 near Bowling Green and hit a utility pole.
