Death of Bruce barber Bragg leads to inquest in local scuffle
Furman R Bragg 46 of Bruce died at Winchester Memorial Hospital after a sidewalk scuffle at a local restaurant involving Atkins 24 of 204 Haster Street. Coroner Dr J A Troxell scheduled an inquest for 4 pm to determine cause of death. Atkins is charged with assault pending the inquest. Bragg was born to Will P Bragg and Lucy Wilt Bragg and leaves a widow and four children. Funeral arrangements are pending with Jones funeral home.
