Mr Rinker Shoots Splendid Red Fox
William F Rinker of Frederick county brought a fine red fox pelt to town after shooting the animal with a double barrel shotgun near his home following raids on henhouses and turkey roosts. He tracked it through snow to about forty yards and finished it with a second shot. The fox was full grown with a handsome long-tailed pelt.
