Youth Killed Seeks Aid For Arrested Friends
A 15 year old, Stanley Nicholson of Robinson orchard west of Winchester, was killed while attempting to return to Winchester to raise money for fines of companions. The party had been drinking and arguing along the Martinsburg pike near Inwood. Father J B Nicholson and three companions were arrested in Martinsburg while the youth died after a collision with an oncoming car driven by Clarence Miller of Gerrardstown. The accident heightened ties to other related deaths on the same road earlier.

Ty Cobb to Undergo Eye Operation Before Spring Training
Ty Cobb, manager of the Detroit Tigers, arrived in Baltimore to seek eye treatment at Wilmer Eye Clinic Johns Hopkins Hospital.
