Killed as He Crossed the Tracks Near Boyce
J. M. Davidson a traveling salesman for Parke-Davis and Company was struck by a southbound freight train near Boyce while driving to Berryville. He died instantly. The crossing was hazardous and witnesses said the driver did not hear the warning whistle. Coroner Stinson's jury found fault was not conclusively assigned. Davidson, 33, a Greensboro native, had been assigned to the Valley territory and was well known in Winchester and Berryville.
