Explorer John Libi Returns In Fifth Ark Quest On Mt Ararat
ISTANBUL AP John Libi a 69 year old San Francisco explorer resumes a fifth expedition to Mt Ararat to seek Noahs Ark He plans to dig near three stone corrals on the mountain to find petrified wood remains and believes the ark landed after a volcanic eruption His 25 man team will base camp at 3000 and 7000 feet with plans to proceed in late July after Turkish permission was previously denied in 1962.

Vice Mayor Frank L. Summers Jr says the Waynesboro Staunton Harrisonburg Rockingham County region was chosen for a new two year technical college. Dr Dana B Hamel state director of technical education notified him Tuesday. Hamel will meet area officials within a week to discuss details. Prior sites include Petersburg Chesterfield County area and Northern Virginia.
