Three Murderers Put to Death at Rockview Prison
Three murderers were electrocuted at Rockview Penitentiary in Bellefonte Pennsylvania. The condemned were Martin Avery and William Henry, both Pittsburgh residents, and Frank Tauza of Wilkes Barre who had links to Bridgeport Connecticut. Avery aged 19 and Sled 30 were executed for the 1929 hold up murder of Edward J Kretz in Pittsburgh. Tauza died for the 1929 killing of police officer Thomas Krokosky in Lucerne Borough.
